We are pleased to announce that, through rigorous training at our Annual Staff Meeting, all our Fire and Explosion Investigators are now Certified Evidence Collection Technicians!

At Jack Ward Fire Consultants we believe that our investigators can never have enough continuing education. Which is why, every year, we require them to obtain a certain amount of CEUs. This year we started off with a bang by bringing in two International Association of Arson Investigators’ Proctors to facilitate the Evidence Collection Technician Certification course. During this four hour practicum examination, each investigator was required to collect 10 pieces of evidence, through different scenarios, putting both their knowledge of fire investigation and their ability to rise to new challenges to the test.

All our investigators are committed to a “career-long learning” philosophy that enhances their knowledge and efficiency in the fire and explosion investigation industry. This is a philosophy that is shared throughout our company, helps each member of our team stay up to date on the newest investigative skills, and assures they can apply them to all losses, from marine and motor vehicles to residential and warehouses investigations. In staying committed to our “career-long learning” philosophy, every investigator had to complete a minimum of 29 hours tested training as a prerequisite to this class. This tested training covered everything from The Scientific Method and Physical Evidence to Ethics and the Fire Investigator.

We would like to take this time to congratulate our team of investigators at Jack Ward Fire Consultants for striving to be the best in their field.
