Brad Stapp began his career in the fire service in 1991 by working as a volunteer fireman. In 1993, he became a full-time firefighter for the City of Social Circle, where he responded to emergency incidents, operated emergency vehicles, and maintained and operated equipment.

In 2007, Brad was promoted to Lieutenant of Fire Prevention, where his duties included assisting with plan reviews, annual and new business inspections for fire and life safety code compliance and conducting fire investigations. In 2012, Brad was promoted once more to Deputy Fire Chief. At this position he supervised plan review, inspections, education programs, origin and cause investigations, report reviews and overall operation and service delivery of the department.

Brad’s long public sector career provided him with the education and experience needed to become a part of the Jack Ward Fire Consultants team. He is a member of many professional associations such as the Georgia Public Safety Fire Investigators Association, the Georgia Fire Investigators Association and the International Association of Arson Investigators where he holds the designation as a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI).

Brad has been accepted by the courts as an expert in fire origin and cause and continues to conduct fire investigations throughout the United States.
