recalled helicopterRoughly 7,400 remote controlled helicopters have been recalled by Toys R Us due to fire and burn hazards. Toys R Us has recalled the “Remote-controlled 3 channel helicopters” (model number 5F5F2F5)  due to the rechargeable battery overheating posing burn and fire hazards to consumers or nearby items. The rechargeable battery is located inside the remote- controlled 3 channel helicopter, and the model number can be found on the front of the product packaging and on the underside of the helicopter. The helicopters were sold exclusively at Toys R Us stores and online (www.toysrus.com) and were sold from September 2012 through January 2013. The double-rotor helicopters are blue and white, approximately 9-inches high and have the Fast Lane logo on the top of the helicopter. They were sold with a remote control unit, a battery charger and a carrying case.
